Many models run tip menus— a pinned list in chat that says things like "50 tokens = flash, 200 tokens = toy on for 2 minutes" — which gives viewers a clear and direct way to request specific content.

Private shows take you out of the public room and into a one-on-one session. Only you and the model are present, and billing runs per minute at the model's set rate. Exclusive shows go a step further — they guarantee no spy viewers can observe the session even passively. Interactive toys, commonly Lovense devices, are a central part of many BongaCams rooms. When a model has a Lovense toy connected and active, tipping them triggers a physical vibration on the toy. The tip amount usually maps to vibration intensity or duration, and models configure their own mappings. The small pink Lovense icon on a thumbnail tells you a toy is active before you even enter the room.

The chat itself serves multiple purposes beyond just messaging. It's where tip notifications appear, where models acknowledge viewers by name, and where the social energy of the room is built. Regular viewers who tip consistently get highlighted in chat and often develop a genuine ongoing relationship with a model. How to Find the Best Models

BongaCams has a deep filtering system that most new users underutilize. The category bar across the top of the homepage lets you filter by broad content type, but the real power is in the tag system. Each model's profile has tags like "lovense," "squirt," "latina," "bbw," "feet," and hundreds of others. Clicking a tag filters the live grid to only show models matching that descriptor. You can also sort the grid by viewer count — models with the most viewers right now are typically delivering the most active shows. Sorting by "new models" surfaces performers who are relatively fresh to the platform and often putting extra effort into building their audience. Using the HD filter narrows results to rooms broadcasting at 720p or above, which makes a noticeable difference in experience quality.

Model profiles are worth checking before committing to a private show. Each profile shows the model's rating (aggregated from user reviews), a description of what they offer, their private show rate in tokens per minute, and whether interactive toys are active. Reviews left by previous viewers are particularly useful — they give honest feedback on whether the model actually delivers on their public show content during private sessions. If you find a model you like, the "Follow" button (requires a free account) adds them to your followed list and lets you receive notifications when they go live. Over time, your followed list becomes a personalized starting point instead of having to browse the full grid every visit.
